When you take a look at the latest fashion trend, or fashion trends for the past 100 years or so for that matter, there is one trend that will stand out among all others. It’s a trend that you will see almost everywhere you look and it has no gender, no socio-economic class and it doesn’t see colour. That trend, of course, is denim. Denim is, and always will be, a fashion favourite of young and old and you can see it in just about every apparel collection in many forms and iterations from denim dungarees and denim shorts, to denim handbags, sneakers, and the classic denim jean.

What is The New Denim Look?

With every new season, comes a new round of denim ready to go from work to play, or a casual date night out on the town. In fact, although the looks are very similar, every new season seems like a new denim trend is introduced, even if it is just a slight variation in colour or style. This is how much we love denim! It can be the same trend season after season and many of us will still buy it and rock the ‘new denim’ look!

Now, we really couldn’t talk about the fact that denim is always trending without talking about this season’s hottest new denim looks. Let’s take a look at the Spring 2020 denim trends that we’ll be wearing this season:

Embroidered Denim

This Spring, we are seeing a lot of embroidered denim styles from some of the industry’s top designers. With colourful pocket accents and beautifully detailed designs, this is one denim trend we are really looking forward to.

Denim Dungarees

The 90’s dungaree is back and better than ever! With a wide range of Bib-overall styles and colours to choose from including denim dungaree shorts, retailers like Dungarees-online are making this trend stick!

Longer High-Rise, Straight-Leg Denim

The vintage-inspired straight-leg fit is back and long is the look! This un-cropped straight-leg denim trend is best worn in a beat-up vintage-looking wash.

Low-Slung Straight

While high-rise denim is still the look to wear, a classic straight leg denim that sits just above your hip bone is giving it a run for its money. With an effortless and relaxed feel, this could be your most comfortable pair of jeans ever!
